A Piece of Paradise: Lake Tahoe

One of the many amazing things about living in the paradise that we call Parc Foret is the location. We are a very short distance to one of the country’s most beautiful places and sights; Lake Tahoe. The summers here are especially great because of the magnificent lake that we are privileged to live so close to.

Lake Tahoe

Escape to Lake Tahoe that is only 25 minutes away. Incline Village and King’s Beach have some of the most beautiful beaches on the entire lake. If you’re willing to hike a short distance, it’s very easy to find quiet and secluded areas that are quite private and very enjoyable. Once in awhile it’s nice to avoid the traffic and crowds and spend a quiet day on the lake. Instead of Sand Harbor, try adventuring to Hidden Beach or Speedboat Beach instead.

It's a short hike to many private beaches.

Lake Sports and Activities

Save yourself the trouble of buying and hauling a kayak or paddle board, you can easily and conveniently rent them! Stop by Tahoe Paddle and Oar to grab a couple of paddle boards. Their rates and prices are the best in town. Their friendly staff will set you up with information and equipment for a morning or afternoon full of fun.

If you aren’t feeling adventurous or need to catch up on some rest, relax on the beach or rocks. There are plenty of spots where you can catch a quick nap or finally finish that book you’ve been in the middle of.

If you’re feeling brave, parasailing and jet-skiing are convenient options. Stations are set up on particular beaches to help you with rentals and other equipment you may need. Check out Aquatic Lake Tahoe in Kings Beach for reservations, specific rates and other details.

Enjoy the last few weeks of summer on Lake Tahoe… fall is just around the corner. See you on the lake!
