The Biggest Little Dog Park is coming to downtown Reno and will have a very special feature. They are setting up a special pet mural to honors our beloved four-legged family members. So you can purchase a place on the mural for your dog!

The mural will be painted on the air vent boxes next to the Biggest Little Dog park.

According to the Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation you can buy spots starting at $200 for a single pet or $150 per pet for multiple submissions. All proceeds from the mural will go toward the construction of the park. The dog park will be located on the south side of the Retrac on West Commercial Row between Sierra St. and West St. There will also be a dog relief area on the southeast corner of the same block.

A grassroots group called the Biggest Little Dog Park Coalition are leading the project. And so they have teamed up with Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation and the City of Reno to improve this part of downtown. The benefits of the park are pretty great for the city. It will provide an essential area where citizens can meet and celebrate their love of dogs. It’s also us a perfect venue for people and dogs to exercise while encouraging economic growth downtown. As we know, downtown has been improving piece by piece to capture the happiness, beauty and art of our city.
