Direct flights from Reno to LAX will be offered by Allegiant Air starting June 9.

Reno is getting another Los Angeles connection. Allegiant Air, based out of Las Vegas will be offering a new nonstop flight service from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport to LAX.

“Allegiant is very pleased to give Reno travelers an ultra-low-cost option for traveling to Los Angeles,” stated Jude Bricker, Allegiant’s chief operating officer. “We’re sure that Reno travelers will embrace this new option for traveling to the City of Angels year-round.”

The direct flights start on June 9 of this year. They will be year round and run twice a week on Thursday and Sundays.

Allegiant is even offering an extra perk. Part of their “$1 Million Summer” campaign and in honor of the direct flights launch in Reno, Allegiant will refund the first 22 travelers to book a round-trip fare. The addition of this new route adds to the Reno-Tahoe Airport’s L.A. arsenal, now with a total of eight direct flights from Reno to LAX via American, Southwest and United Airlines.
