Paddleboard in Tahoe

Head to Lake Tahoe, where the sun shines year round and grab a paddleboard. We recommend going in the morning since it’s less windy! Just because it’s fall and chilly in Reno, doesn’t mean you can’t get out on the water.

Scheels Turkey Trot

Thanksgiving is coming up and there’s more to do than just eat! On November 24th, take on either a 10k or a two-mile walk/run starting at Scheels at the Legends at Sparks. It’s a great event for all ages and costs $25 to register in advance. Reno’s fall weather is perfect for running and gives you a chance to add a new holiday tradition. Get a little exercise and family fun before the grand feast. The race begins at 8:30 a.m.!
