Enjoy the breathtaking beauty and luxury of Lake Tahoe with a cruise! The ship is called the Dixie II and daytime and dinner cruises are available year round. It travels from Zephyr Cove to Emerald Bay and back. People from all over the world will be traveling beside you on this perfect voyage. A narrator will talk about the history of Emerald Bay and tell tales of Vikingsholm Castle and Fannette Island. Captain Dick Barter, known as the Hermit of Emerald Bay, was from Fanette Island and drowned in Tahoe in 1873. The legend says that his ghost sometimes rises from the water. Along with the spooky tales, there’s amazing food and the bar is everyone’s favorite spot.Dine with your friends with top notch cuisine and enjoy a drink or two after. After eating, dance your friends and family or enjoy the weather outside as you look upon the sparkling blue lake.

The voyage is 2 and a half hours long and is sure to make an impression. You’ll leave with new knowledge of Lake Tahoe, new friends, and lasting memories of the Tahoe scenery. The sightseeing cruises start daily at noon for $59 ($29 for children ages 3-11) There will be lunch and drinks available for purchase. The sunset dinner cruises are $89 ($39 for children ages 3-11).
