We can practically hear the engines revving. Hot August Nights is almost upon us! It is the largest classic car events in the country. Get ready for food, drinks, cars and nostalgia. The fun begins August 6th and there are multiple venues in on the action. This includes Grand Sierra, Atlantis casino, The Nugget, The Peppermill, Reno Event Center, Victorian Square and so many more!

Hot August Nights pays tribute to over 6,000 classic automobiles with impeccable designs.

The official kick-off party is at the Peppermill Resort on August 7th from 4 pm to 10 pm. There will be classic specialty cars on display along with the kick-off Mill Mile. You can also head to the Atlantis for the Acres of Champions Show-n-Shine and Cruisin’ Craft Fair. There will also be a Guinness World Record Hula Hoop contest Monday night.

Of course there will be tons of live music including a free outdoor concert. Dusty Miles & the Cryin’ Shame and Beatles Flashback will play on August 7th at the Peppermill. The week is full of events for the family too and the last day is Sunday, August 13th with a car awards presentation & Parade of Champions. That will be held in Downtown Reno and presented by the Bonanza Casino. The final day will also have $10,000 cash drawings all day long at the Atlantis. And we can’t forget about the Hot August Nights Cup, which will be won by the Show-n-Shine competition that will once again be one of the biggest prize purses in the country.
