Frontier Airlines Coming to Reno

After a ten year absence, Frontier is returning to Reno.

As a result of our growing community’s needs, the Reno Tahoe airport welcomes Frontier as our ninth airline. On November 21st, the budget airline will have three weekly direct flights between Denver and Reno. Flights will be aboard the 180 passenger Airbus 320 and take place on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
The Colorado based airline has expanded to 21 new cities, in addition to Reno. Frontier’s prices are competitive, with fares as low as $49. Consequently increased air traffic into Reno is expected. In fact, the President and CEO of Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority Marily Mora stated, “Landing Frontier back in our region really is a testament to the area’s economic success.”
