Bowling To Help Endangered Animals

If you have paid a visit to the local farmer’s market at either the Summit or the Sands you may have came across the  Bowling For Rhinos stand.  The cheery volunteers are selling their vibrantly orange t-shirts and inviting you to come out and bowl.

Events

October 28th and October 29th at the National Bowling Stadium there will be two opportunities to help raise money for the endangered rhinos and cheetahs. October 28th is an adult only gala event, with an optional costume contest. From 7 pm – 11 pm refreshments, dancing and both a live and silent  auction will be taking place on Saturday. For a family friendly Halloween option,take the kiddos from 11 am – 7 pm Sunday October 29th. This safe and fun event will have face painting, raffle prizes and a trick or treat event.

What You Can Do To Help

Attending the bowling events is just one way you can help these endangered animals. Other opportunities  include:

  • Buying and wearing a stylish “Reno Bowling for Rhinos” t-shirt.
  • Create jewelry or art centered around conservation/ endanger species themes to auctioned off at the Gala event to raise money.
  • Volunteer your time.  Currently seeking baristas, MCs, Djs, set up, break down and more.
  • Donating. 100% of proceeds got to saving the rhinos and cheetahs and our tax deductible.
