Uber Eats is likely coming to Reno! Uber Eats is a food delivery service branched off of Uber. People can download the Uber Eats app to their device, or they can visit the their easy to use website. There are tons of online menus to order from and you can pay with a credit card on file. There will be Uber drivers and other couriers delivering the food right to your door. Uber Eats was available in 56 cities at the start of 2017. And it keeps growing.

Uber Eats is now officially launched in 100 cities worldwide.

So now they are also set to double the number of cities by the end of the year. With Reno continuing to grow, the addition of Uber Eats is just what our city needs. An average order takes 35 minutes from start to finish. With Reno’s local dining business booming, this would be an ideal city for the service. Restaurants can submit information here to become an Uber Eats partner. So they will be able to have their menus all available for ordering. There first Nevada location launched in Las Vegas in 2016.

There have also been new additions to the app. One begin that you can schedule an order in advance. You just set your delivery to what day and time you’d like and you’ll get your food right on time. Another new feature is that you can choose how to get your food to accommodate you and where you are. You can choose curb-side, door, or meet in lobby. It’s up to you! The Uber communications manager for Nevada is exploring bring Uber Eats to Reno, so we will stay tuned.
