Chick-Fil-A will be opening in South Reno on May 25th. This will be the third Nevada location for the popular chicken spot. The first three places opened up in metro Las Vegas earlier this year. Ryan Smith, the franchise owner of Chick-Fil-A, is working to expand the restaurant across the country and is starting with Nevada. Smith graduated with a degree in business and economics from Wheaton College in Illinois. He then joined Chick-Fil-A as part of the leadership team of a Florida franchise. After that he spent the next two years traveling around the country, helping franchise owners as they opened new locations. After that, he was chosen to help create the Chick-Fil-A brand in Nevada.

There will be 102 Chick-Fil-A’s opening this year, creating almost 9,000 jobs.

Reno has tons of Chick-Fil-A fans. With Reno turning into a foodie hot spot.  Chick Fil-A is known for it’s award-winning customer service and various tasty chicken entrees. This year, Chick-fil-A received the top score among fast food brands and one of the top 10 scores overall for customer experience in the Temkin Experience Ratings survey. Not only that, but they were named “the most polite restaurant in the country” in QSR Magazine’s 2016 annual drive-thru report. They were also the only restaurant brand named in the Top 10 “Best Companies to Work For” by 24/7 Wall St last year.

Smith will be hiring 130 team members for the Reno location. You can submit applications at http://www.renocfa.com for full-time and part-time job spots. Benefits include scholarships for school, Sundays off, and flexible schedules at the restaurant, according to a press release.
