Sip beer with the best brewers in town all week long! The Backwash Beer Festival started June 2nd and started off Reno Craft Beer Week the right way at the Renaissance Reno/Bundox Bocce. There are nearly 40 events this year the third annual Reno Craft Beer Week. The festival is going from June 2nd until the 10th celebrate Reno’s growing beer culture.

This is Reno’s third annul Craft Beer Week and it’s bigger than ever.

This year there will be 18 brewers in the festival. Many events and festivities will be be educating attendees about the art of brewing along with explaining their techniques. You will get to sample our area’s finest and local chefs will be strategically pairing food creations with beer all week long!  So there will be home brews, special craft beers from all over the country, a sour-fest beer tasting, beer cocktail demonstrations, and beer festivals. So, all of them will benefit a good cause!

The Peppermill, Sands Regency and the Renaissance are offering special Beer Week room packages and hosting events all week. The closing ceremonies will be held on Saturday, June 10 in Sparks’ Victorian Square. So that will be the CollaBREWation Festival, presented by the Nevada Craft Brewers Association and show over a dozen beers from local brewers. A schedule of events will be in the Reno News and Review and events will be featured on the Reno Craft Beer Week Facebook page. So grab, friends and family to drink all week long in celebration of local brewing and top notch craft beer!
